BEIJING CAPITAL ARPT
Forbidden City
RMB40, 9am to 4pm It's the largest and most complete Imperial Palace in China. Its construction began in 1406 and was completed 14 years later. Twenty-four emperors from the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties lived and ruled China from there.
Tian An Men Square
It's one of the largest city squares in the world. It's located on the central axis of old Beijing. On the north side of the square is the gate "Tian'anmen" (The Gate of Heavenly Peace). Built in 1417 and served as the entrance gate to the Forbidden City.
Temple of Heaven
RMB35, 8am to 4.30pm The Temple of Heaven was built in 1420. It covers an area of 273 hectares. The place for emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties visited to worship heaven and pray for an abundant harvest.
Summer Palace
