Property Description
Celebrating 162 years of irish hospitality hotel meyrick has been an interal part of galways history. Previously known as the great southern hotel and renamed in 2007 following an extensive refurbishment. In 2012-2014 bedroom soft furnishings and 2 new restaurants opened. This famous galway hotel offers a number of facilities such as the newly opened no 15 on the square restaurant with original 1852 brickwork revealed and the buzzing ground floor gaslight brasserie also newly opened in march 2014 the 5th floor square spa and fitness centre are complimentary for residents. Some rooms have views of galway bay and those at the front of the original building overlook butsling eyre square there are 97 rooms and suites at hotel meyick with meeting facilities up to 300 delegates full irish breakfast and extensive continental breakfast included in rate.
