Gourmet restaurant offers the ultimate best of fine dining - from the sophisticated decor to the mouth-watering food. The menu is impressive and includes legendary foie gras pate and other dishes from duck liver, fresh seafood - oysters, lobster and scallops. The card of restaurant wines is not long, however, well combined. In addition, California Gourmet has the biggest choice of champagne in Lithuania. Chef de cuisine Aldona Geciene is the winner of many international culinary contests and her collection of awards is growing every year. The past year was no different: International Kremlin Culinary Cup 2011 brought her home even three medals. The interior of California Gourmet is comfortably classical, the restrained tones and temperate luxury are dominant. There are 20 seats in the restaurant, the same number of guests can be seated in the yard of Classicism style under the sunblinds, where the well-groomed decorative plans and flowers catch an eye. All the desserts are prepared in our kitchen-even the ice-cream with caramelised nuts or lemon ice-cream which is served in lemon skins. Our dessert selection features, among others, the famous Crema Catalana which is also called Creme Brule and the delicious Santiago almond cake. And as it should be, California has a Californian menu. This means that the main bar dishes can be ordered at any time when the bar is open.
