The Pietreto Hotel offers the quietness and beauty of the gentle Tuscan hillside. From the Pietreto, the most famous Tuscan cities are within easy reach. Florence is 45 minutes drive by car, 30 minutes to Siena, 20 to S. Gimignano, while Punta Ala and the Grosseto coast can be visited after just over one hour drive. In the quiet and vast Pietreto parkside, the guests can make use of the two swimming pools, open from May to October. One of the most interesting locations of the Alta Valdelsa, the roman calidario of the Caldane, opens freely to the public only few yards from the Pietreto parkside. The Via Francigena, an important backbone to central Italian cultural exchange during the most part of the millennium, unwinds a few steps form the Pietreto. It can be reached for instance at Monteriggioni, another medieval pearl dating 1100 (10 minutes away by car).
