This 18th century family-owned Copenhagen hotel is situated near the City Hall Square and Stroget shopping street and only 127 steps from Tivoli Garden. Behind the hotel is the oldest part of the city where the streets are still cobbled and some of Copenhagens most interesting shops/ cafes and restaurants are found. Hotel Danmark has 88 rooms/ breakfast restaurant/ smorgasbord restaurant/ lounge/ courtyard/ meeting room/ cable tv/ lift/ 24 hours reception service/ parking garage and free internet access in all rooms. At Hotel Danmark/ we welcome you to our cosy atmosphere with individually decorated rooms and guest lounges/ where you can relax with a newspaper and a nice cup of coffee. Hotel Danmark is the place to unwind and escape the city bustle just outside the hotel walls. All of our 88 guestrooms are individually furnished and designed. Some of the rooms have separate small lounge areas/ and some rooms offer great views over Tivoli Gardens. If you are part of the dying race of smokers/ you might be glad to know that smoking is allowed in 50 per cent of the guest rooms at Hotel Danmark. Maybe you want to send an e-mail to those back home about your stay in Copenhagen /well we have free internet access/ so that will not be a problem. In Tivolihallen on the ground floor/ you can try traditional Danish cuisine including smorrebrod and klipfisk two dishes that Tivolihallen is very known for.
