Located in the mountains on the upper Yangtze River, western China's largest inland port city boasts a rich history stretching back more than 3,000 years. Our hotel is conveniently located on Nan Bin Road in the heart the new entertainment and commercial district of Nan'an, stretching right along the river. We are next to Nan Bin Park featuring one of the largest musical fountains in Asia and near Chongqing Convention Center. We're also less than seven kilometers from Chongqing's central business district, home to international companies and world banking headquarters. The Peoples Liberation Monument, a nationally-famous landmark, is found nearby. History buffs will want to visit the Stilwell Museum, in the former home of General Joseph W. Stilwell, and Red Cliff Village, one of Chinas finest revolutionary history museums. Chongqings most renowned park, Northern Hot Springs Park is another must-see attraction. About 60 kilometers outside the city, guests can visit the Dazu Rock Carvings, a UNESCO World Heritage Site containing more than 50,000 Buddhist, Confucian, and Taoist statues. Another great day trip, The Three Gorges found along the Yangtze River are noted for their breathtaking scenery. There are countless entertainment options in and around Chongqing. Watch a dynamic song-and-dance performance depicting Chongqings past at Bayu Theater. At the ancient Huguang Guild Hall, you can take in centuries-old buildings, catch a local performance, and buy unique handicrafts.
