Hotel Hehrne lies in a green field on the outskirts of Vanersborg. Restad Farm is one of the oldest and newest neighbourhoods in Vanersborg. Ancestors stretching back to the 1500s. Area as a whole is typical of the beginning of last century. Isolated buildings built symmetrically around a courtyard with buildings and administration buildings in the centre. Personal residences, smaller buildings for the care and other business buildings erected as well. Even a cemetery, gardens and park area was built. From the hospital to the city, during 1900s last decades were converted Resta Manor from a hospital to a city in the city. There are houses from all decades from 1900-century and the beginning until the 1990s. Today, the rest Manor constantly changing and adapting to todays people and their needs.
