You may enjoy the Jacuzzi-swimming pool, use the sun chairs and benefit from private parking. La Dolce Vita is a 5 minute walk from Las Terrenas town. If you prefer, you may try the local transport: the “motoconchos” (motorbike taxi). There is a great offer of renting vehicles, four wheels, jeeps, motorcycles, cars and bikes. You will find many stores. Supermarkets where they sell imported products from overseas (with free delivery). Typical “colmados” (little Dominican market). Exchange shops, banks, physicians, drugstores. As well as Internet stores, night clubs, bars and restaurants. At night, Pueblo de Los Pescadores is a very active site. Its the perfect place for a wonderful evening by the sea.
Horse-back riding, four wheel and jeep rides, Trekking, to discover the amazing landscapes of this beautiful place. Deep-sea fishing, kite surf, windsurf, mountain bike, scuba diving, among other options. You may as well take an excursion from Las Terrenas, like the breathtaking “Cascada del limon” (Lemon cascade), the national park “Los Haitises”, a boat trip to a dreamy island or the humpback whale-watching. This takes place every year from January to March when they come to breed and have their offspring in the warm waters of Samana bay.
