Cesme is one of the most popular summer holiday resorts of Turkey, well known for its clean water and sandy beaches. It is located 53 miles away from Izmir, through the Aegean coastline. Each year, thousands of sportslovers visit Cesme to wind surf. Alacati is among the worlds top 5 places most convenient for wind surfing. It is also famous for its bazaar and restaurants. Some other popular beaches are Ilica with its long coastline, Altinkum with its golden sand and Aya Yorgi.
