Designed by Syed Moinul Hossain and situated 35 kilometres away in Savar, the National Memorial, which is dedicated to those who died during the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971, is another moving experience. Get a cultivated dose of ancient art at the National Museum. Laden with relics, it is one of South Asias largest museums. Peruse the local folk art, paintings, and handicraft shops at the Institute of Arts and Crafts.
