- A Copenhagen icon since 1755, the Hotel d Angleterre re-opened in May 2013 following the most ambitious hotel restoration in Danish history. - For your information the metro line is currently being extended throughout different locations in Copenhagen.     The hotel is ideally situated next to the Royal Danish Theatre on the Kongens Nytorv Square in the heart of Copenhagen and connected to the famous pedestrian shopping street Stroeget. The Kongens Nytorv Metro stop is just 50m from the main entrance and guests are also very near to the main train station which is only 2km away. Copenhagen Kastrup Airport is approx 8km from the hotel and the hotel is able to provide private transfers.
