Property Description
The Ritz is a World famous hotel opened in 1906 by Cesar Ritz with private British ownership. The hotel has 134 large bedrooms including 22 suites with over two staff to every guest room. There are five stunning Banqueting rooms in the adjoining William Kent House. Residents are offered complimentary membership of the 24 hour Ritz Club offering a restaurant, bar and gaming room. A range of treatments are available in the Ritz Salon which is open seven days a week. The Ritz is the only hotel in the world to be awarded a Royal Warrant by HRH the Prince of Wales. The Ritz Restaurant is often described as the most beautiful dining room in the world. The Garden Bar Champagne Terrace, located between the hotel restaurant and The Royal Green Park, is the ideal location to enjoy fine Champagne and dining in the heart of the city. The light menu specialises in canapes, delectable cornets of smoked salmon Moscovite and the finest selection of British cheeses which perfectly complement the delicate Champagnes. This is the ideal venue for summer wining and dining and is open throughout the summer months(weather permitting) between 3pm to 7pm. Guests will be accommodated on a first come, first served basis. The Restaurant Terrace is open daily for lunch throughout the summer (weather permitting). Relax in beautiful surroundings with private seclusion from the bustle of Piccadilly. This elegant terrace features an Italian mosaic tiled floor and tables with vast parasols to provide shade when needed. The Ritz London hosts several Champagne Dinners throughout the year. Executive Chef John Williams MBE creates remarkable 4 course menus with some of the finest offerings from Champagne suppliers. Reservations are recommended.     The Ritz is perfectly located in the very center of London with views along Piccadilly to Hyde Park Corner and Knightsbridge on one side and to the other with spectacular views over The Royal Gardens of Green Park towards Buckingham Palace. The hotel is close to the famous fashion houses of Bond Street, Jermyn Street and Regent Street and to the Burlington Arcade / Fortnum and Mason and Hatchards bookshop on Piccadilly. The Royal Academy of Arts at Burlington House is also close by as are the prestigious auction houses of Sothebys and Christies.
