Property Description
El Palace Barcelona, totally refurbished, opened to great acclaim during late 2009. The renovation preserved the classic spirit that had always characterized this hotel as a distinguished as a symbol of Barcelonas hotel tradition. Set in the heart of the city centre since 1919, close to Las Ramblas and Paseo de Gracia,in the most prestigious shopping area. The hotel features guestrooms and suites equipped with last generation technology. The beauty and majesty of this stunning jewel has been enhanced by a new room design, a redecoration of the public areas and lounges, and the realignment and optimization of the architectural structure. Recently opened our new Diana Romantic Garden at the hotel rooftop terrace, which features a totally ecological swimming-pool inspired in the Roman Baths designed by Cesar Ritz. This new space of 700 sqm2-7535 ft2, has more than 50 autochthone species specially selected in a garden radically different to the traditional hotel terrace concept. The whole atmosphere has been designed with Noucentism Style and is the house for orchids, jasmines and bouganvilles, all surrounded by exotic fruit trees, palms and aromatic and culinary plants. At nights, the two fountains perform different color water streams dancing to the music while enjoying a cocktail or aperitif. All over the terrace, unique and magic views to the Sagrada Familia Cathedral, Mediterranean Sea and Montjuic and Tibidabo Hills. Varied Gastronomic offer in two different restaurants: 19/NINETTEN and Caelis. Cocktails, Drinks and Live music at Bluesman Cocktail Bar. Complimentary WIFI navigation throughout the Hotel.
