Directions
From the Airport follow the signs for A1 South past Metro Centre. Take the A184 to the city centre and over the Redheugh Bridge turn right at second set of traffic lights signed for Central Station, continue past next set of traffic lights and bear left. Take the next right turn down Bewicke Street. Follow the road around and the hotel is on your left. Car park is through the archway just before the hotel.
Follow signs to A1 North continue for approximately 35 miles at the exit for A184 Newcastle City Centre. Continue on the A184 cross the Redheugh Bridge turn right at the second set of traffic lights signed for Central Station, continue past next set of traffic lights and bear left. Take the next right turn down Bewicke Street. Follow the road around and the hotel is on your left car park is before the hotel through the archway.
From the A1 follow signs to the City Centre and A184 and over the Redheugh Bridge. Turn right at 2nd set of traffic lights signed for central station, continue past next set of traffic lights and bear left. Take the next right turn down Bewicke Street. Follow the road around and the Hotel is on your Left, the car park is just before you get to the Hotel, through the archway.
Leave the Baltic and cross over the Millenium Bridge,turn right and follow the road up Dean Street. Turn right onto Moseley Street leading onto Westgate Road turn left after the Long Bar to reach the Thistle Newcastle
Come out of the Centre for Life and take a right heading towards the Central Station. Cross over the pedestian crossing and Thistle Newcastle is on the right.
Coming out of the Laing Gallery onto Newbridge St, take a right. Continue straight ahead, crossing over two sets of traffic lights until you reach the Greys Monument.Take a left down Grainger St at the Monument. Continue to the bottom of the street and then take a right. Thistle Newcastle is situated on the right.
Join A1 and travel North to Newcastle City Centre
Exit the Sage and follow the path down to the Quayside. Cross over the Millenium Bridge and take a left. Walk along the Quayside then take a right at Dean St. Follow up Dean St to Mosley st and take a left. Walk along the street passing St Nicholas Cathedral on the left. Continue along the road passing the Long Bar on the right hand side. Thistle Newcastle will be on the right hand side opposite Central Station.
Exit St James Park & head towards the Strawberry pub. Continue down Strawberry Lane & take a right followed by the next left down St Andrews St. Take the second right leading onto Newgate St and continue along the road. Continue past The Gate complex until reaching the Grainger St junction. Take a right at the crossing and continue down to the bottom of Grainger St. Take a right at the bottom and Thistle Newcastl will be on the right.
Coming out of the Monument entrance of Eldon Square take a right leading you onto Grainger St. Continue down to the bottom of the street then take a right onto Neville St. Thistle Newcastle is on the right hand side.
Frequent bus & train services run direct to the Central Station during peak hours. By car,exit onto the A1 northbound, heading towards Newcastle City Centre West. Join the A189 and continue over the Redheugh Bridge. Take the second right onto Westmorland Rd. The road bears round to the left. Take a right after the church down the access lane. Follow the lane round to the hotel entrance on the left.
Exit out of the Theatre and take a right onto Market St. Take a left at the junction and follow the road round joining Grainger St. Follow Grainger St down to the bottom and take a right. Thistle Newcastle will be on the right
Exit Arena & turn left, walk up to Times Square car park & take right. Walk through the Centre for Life & take a right. Walk towards the Central Station & cross over the Pedestrian crossing, Thistle Newcastle is on the right.
