The Hotel Pitti Palace al Ponte Vecchio is located in the heart of Florence in one of the most striking parts of the historical center 7 meters from Ponte Vecchio in the Oltrarno district and in front of the Corridoio Vasariano. A few steps from the Uffizi Gallery and Palazzo Pitti. The hotels structure is part of the Torre dei Rossi dating back to 1200. From the inside/ you can still see the stone buttresses of Ponte Vecchio. A beautiful Suite is on the seventh floor/ and a cafeteria- bar on the sixth floor offers a breathtaking view of Florence and its monuments from two large terraces. A meeting room on the fifth floor. A lovely mezzanine lounge/ and a relaxing characteristic meeting room in the basement. Located in Oltrarno the side of the river were you can still feel the right Florentine atmosphere between the narrow streets you can see the artisans making their masterpieces of leather frames jewellery and many others. Elegant shops of antiques near little shops of junk dealers where it is possible to find some interesting objects. Here every stone every corner has its own history. The Hotel itself has its own history. It used to be a medieval tower bombed during the Second World War was rebuilt keeping the original architecture. In some of the rooms and in the meeting room you can still see the holes that were used to build the tower. Inside you will be welcomed by the friendly staff all rooms nicely decorated and fully equipped with safe minibar direct telephone TV with international channels.
