Located downtown in the citys central business and diplomatic district, our hotel is surrounded by a wealth of shopping options such as Central World Plaza, Gaysorn Plaza, Siam Paragon, and the idyllic oasis of the 58-hectare Lumpini Park Bangkok's largest and most popular park. In the early morning, Lumpini Park is full of locals exercising and groups practicing Tai Chi, the ancient Chinese form of exercise. Vendors offer traditional beverages considered health tonics by many Thais and Chinese, as well as popular, delicious Thai snacks for those who fancy something sweet or savoury. Rowing boats and paddle boats can be rented at the lake for a relaxing nautical adventure. Other facilities include a snack bar, several areas with tables and benches for picnics, and a couple of tables where ladies serve Chinese tea. Rest rooms are placed at intervals throughout the park. Musical shows are sometimes held in this spacious park, particularly on Sundays. The park, which is home to Thailands first public library, also features a statue commemorating King Rama the VI. Whilst Bangkoks weather is usually warm and humid, the elaborate jogging track, complete with stops for weight lifting and special gymnastics, is in use all day, especially in the early morning and late afternoon. We are just minutes from the convenience of the citys Ploenchit sky train station, expressway, the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre/QSNC, BITEC, and IMPACT Arena. Suvarnabhumi Airport is 35 kilometres away.
