For those renting a car in San Jose and wanting to drive to Tamarindo the can now shorten their traveling time by one hour by choosing to take the route over the new bridge over the Tempisque river saving approximately one hour of traveling time. The international airport of Liberia -one hour drive from Tamarindo- services charter flights and scheduled flights from the US on a daily basis.
