  • At the foot of the Santa Lucia Hill, it houses a gigantic collection of books, magazines, maps and historic archives, even some dating back to 1500, including some incunabular tomes.
  • El Colorado Ski Resort

  • At only 22 miles away from Las Condes, from its slopes at an average altitude of 9.840 ft - you can make out the view of Santiago. El Colorado is adjacent to Farellones, La Parva and Valle Nevado, which slopes can be accessed via a combined ticket.
  • Vina del Mar

  • An International Song Festival takes place every February in the "Garden City". This tourist capital of Chile offers modern buildings next to the beaches, top level shopping, spectacular restaurants, cultural events, casino and an active night life.
  • Valparaiso Port

  • Mansions and houses balance precariously on the hills of Valparaiso facing the Pacific Ocean. Walk through this city, part of Unesco's World Heritage, visit La Sebastiana one of Neruda's Houses, and take an elevator to enjoy a superb view of the port
  • Santa Lucia Hill

  • Called "Huel n" by natives. From the top there is a lovely panoramic view just like Pedro de Valdivia must have seen when he overlooked the valley in 1540. There is also a traditional cannon shot, fired from the hill to signal that it's noon.
  • San Cristobal Hill

  • At the top of this hill dominated by a Statue of the Virgin there is a spectacular view, and you can go up on foot or by car, funicular railway or cable car. There are children playgrounds, swimming pools and the Metropolitan Zoo.
  • Casa Piedra Convention Centre

  • CasaPiedra is located in the heart of the East sector, which concentrates a large amount of commercial activity; surrounded by the fastest and most direct paths to and from major hotels, shopping malls, airports and other strategic points of the city.
  • Plaza de Armas Square

  • As the nucleus of the city, the Cathedral and the Real Audiencia were placed around it. The Municipality of Santiago and the Fernandez Concha and Bulnes Portals are there. Recently remodelled it provides a good view. It is a meeting place for people.
  • Cousi o Macul Vineyard

  • It conducts a guided tour in English at 11:00 am from March to December. During the visit the processes for producing their famous wines are explained. Afterwards visitors can taste the wines, which cost three dollars for a glass of reserve wine.
  • Isla Negra Pablo Neruda

  • Visit one of Neruda's houses with its collections of figureheads and seashells and the poet's grave, facing the ocean. Visits Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 18pm. (74 miles from Santiago, along route 68, turn right in Casablanca toward Algarrobo.
  • Lastarria gastronomic and cultural neighberhood
