Nisbet is the Caribbeans only deluxe plantation inn located directly on the beach.
The 1778 Plantation Great House is the ancestral home of Fanny Nisbet- the ever-faithful and loving wife of British naval hero Lord Admiral Horatio Nelson. The Great House serves as the setting for evening drinks and conversation and gourmet dinners. It is one of only three air-conditioned restaurants on Nevis.
Afternoon Tea is served daily on the terrace. Coconuts Restaurant and Sea Breeze Bar & Grill- pool and beach side- serve breakfast and lunch daily. 36 cottage-style accommodations are spread out among the 30 acres of gracious lawn- palm trees- and tropical flowers
Included in room rates are local calls- postcards and postage- and a weekly Managers Rum Punch & Cocktails Party. One of the islands most popular events is the Thursday Night Beach Bar-B-Q & Buffet- featuring local seafood and steak- which follows the Managers Party and includes a lively Caribbean band that gets everyone dancing.
Nisbet also has a freshwater pool and hot tub at the beach- a fitness center- Spa services- massage treatments- and complimentary snorkel and tennis equipment.
