Boudhanath Stupa
A UNESCO World Heritage Site. The 36-metre-high stupa is one of the largest stupas in South Asia. Entry fee NPR. 150 (approximately US$2) for foreign nationals. Open 24 hours.
Kathmandu Durbar Square
About 25-30 minutes from the hotel by car, Kathmandu Durbar Square is in the heart of old Kathmandu city in Basantapur. Most parts of the palace premises are open to tourists throughout the week. Entry fee NPR. 300 (approximately US$4).
Pashupatinath Temple
About 10-15 minutes from the hotel by car, this temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The shrine is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Entry fee NPR. 500 (approximately US$7) applies to foreign nationals and the temple is open from 6:00am to 7:00 pm
Patan Durbar Square
About 45 minutes from the hotel by car and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Patan Durbar Square is located in the heart of Patan city. Entry fee NPR 200 (approximately US$3).
Swayambhunath Stupa
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, believed to have been established more than 2,500 years ago. It is also known as the Monkey Temple. Entry fee NPR. 200 (approximately US$3) applies for foreign nationals and is open 24 hours.
